Given our current lifestyles, it may be hard to believe, but our natural state of being is peace and love. It’s even possible for each of us to remain in this state every day in each moment if we choose. This book explores what it means to live this way.
When I started writing, I thought I was writing about being aligned with love. For me, this meant living each day as an expression of love as much as possible. I didn’t realise that I was actually writing about awakening or enlightenment, as some call it. In fact, I didn’t even fully know what awakening was or if it was possible in this lifetime. I came to find out that it’s not only possible, but inevitable.
I always associated this awakened state of being with gurus and saints. I didn’t think the “average” person could achieve this state. While writing this book, I discovered wonderful people and other authors who had experienced full Awakening—seemingly ordinary people like me whom I could identify with.
I decided it was time to go within. I teach my students how to work with their Angels and guides to receive answers and guidance, so I needed to take my own advice and tune into my truth. I asked my Higher Self questions about awakening and began to write. My intention was to remove my thinking mind from the process and relax into whatever needed to come through me. The answers flowed naturally and often surprised me in their clarity and simplicity. As you will learn in the pages to come, the process of awakening is simple. It’s the practice of applying it daily that’s challenging.
I imagine you’re here because you have the same questions. Your longing for answers has drawn you to this book, just as the same longing caused me to write what you’re about to read.
The questions that came to me are far from unique to me. I’m sure you, too, have asked the same ones. My hope is that the answers will propel your own awakening, which will, in turn, open the doors for others.
Living as Presence is possible now for all of us, and as more and more of us awaken, it becomes impossible to remain in duality.
A new way of being is upon us.
